Engineering Manager - B2B SaaS - Fintech - Permanent Opportunity 

My client is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team and play a key role in delivering scalable, high-impact platform capabilities.

This is a leadership role where you will shape the day to day operations, and implement best practice to an organization undergoing an exciting modernization journey.

Day to day:

  • Coach and support Technical Leads, helping them grow as leaders and strengthen overall team capability
  • Create a high-performance culture that values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Partner closely with Product and Delivery to align priorities, manage trade-offs, and deliver customer value
  • Improve delivery predictability through clear planning, visibility, and effective execution practices
  • Ensure strong engineering discipline across teams, including architecture, testing, CI/CD, and scalable design
  • Proactively identify and manage delivery risks in complex, fast-moving environments
  • Contribute to both the strategic direction of the platform and the day-to-day effectiveness of engineering teams

Ideal skills:

  • Experience leading engineering teams in a SaaS, platform, or product environment
  • A strong track record of building and developing high-performing teams and Technical Leads
  • Solid understanding of modern engineering practices (Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, scalable architectures)
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans and drive consistent delivery outcomes
  • Confidence working cross-functionally with Product, Delivery, and other stakeholders
  • Experience navigating competing priorities, trade-offs, and technical complexity
  • A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness
