As part of our continued growth and innovation, we are looking for a Technical Lead to guide our digital transformation, ensuring that our technology is as luxurious and seamless as the brand we represent.

While there is incredible flexibility with this role, please note that this is a full-time (5 days per week) onsite role. The role is based in Sydney's south with plenty of free car parking.


Role Summary:

In the role of Technical Lead, you will be at the helm of our digital evolution, balancing technical responsibilities with leadership duties. Your core (initial) focus will be to project manage the migration of our exsiting websites (and code) from one of our agency partners. Once the migration starts, your next focus will be to build out a team to support and evolve our oline offers and experience. 

The balance of duties will see you spend the majority of your time providing technical direction to a newly developed team (that you will build) both in Australia and offshore. The team will be working on both our existing Magento and Shopify platforms as well at looking at how best to introduce AI into the business. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our platforms remain best-in-class while leading innovation in areas like AI integration and cloud optimisation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a highly skilled team of full-stack Magento and Shopify developers, including QA.
  • Oversee multiple high-end eCommerce projects, ensuring processes, communication, and deployment meet the standards of a luxury brand.
  • Actively engage with our current Magento and Shopify platforms to ensure flawless performance and resolve any technical challenges swiftly.
  • Lead the integration of AI technologies to enhance both operational efficiency and customer experience, ensuring the digital touchpoints match the brand’s luxury status.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define business and system requirements that align with our premium positioning.
  • Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability for a global luxury audience.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows to streamline project deliveries.
  • Foster a DevOps culture within your team to ensure agility, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Act as Scrum Master, driving adherence to Agile methodologies and ensuring the team delivers top-tier results.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record leading development teams within luxury or premium eCommerce brands.
  • Extensive experience working with Magento and Shopify platforms, with the ability to resolve complex issues and maintain platform excellence.
  • Expertise in implementing AI-driven solutions to elevate customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, with experience leading teams as a Scrum Master.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud management, ensuring that systems are secure, scalable, and capable of supporting a luxury eCommerce platform.
  • Experience setting up automated deployment pipelines and overseeing the full lifecycle of digital projects.
