Are you ready to take on a brand-new role where data takes center stage? This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-growing FinTech business that’s doubling down on its data capabilities.

This isn’t a traditional report-building role. Instead, it’s about taking a consultative approach to ensure that reporting and data management efforts are aligned with business goals. You'll be the bridge between the business and the data team, gathering requirements, evaluating reporting requests, and prioritising tasks based on their strategic importance and impact. Your focus will be on understanding the true needs of stakeholders and defining reporting objectives.

Why This Role?

In this role, you'll step into a unique position where you’ll have direct access to the Leadership Team and C-level Executives. You'll be pivotal in defining the reporting roadmap, driving improvements in automation and processes, and providing critical reporting insights that guide the company’s strategic direction.

Your Impact:

As the Reporting Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of the data action.

  • Develop, define and gather business requirements around data and reporting, working closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to ensure the business has the information it needs at its fingertips.
  • Track and communicate reporting timelines, expectations and progress/delays.
  • Collaborate with platform providers, ensuring data integrity and availability while overseeing the full lifecycle of reporting, from requirement gathering to rollout and training.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, push back when needed, and ensure that the reports delivered truly add value and align with business goals.
  • Play a consultative role, getting to the root of stakeholders' needs, translating them into technical requirements, and working with the data analysts to bring them to life.

What You’ll Bring:

You’re not just comfortable in front of stakeholders – you thrive there. With a background in data-centric environments, you excel at translating complex data into valuable reports that align with and drive business strategy. Your problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate the complexities of executive reporting will help you succeed in an environment where data needs are constantly evolving.

While you don’t need to be a visualisation tool expert, a strong grasp of Tableau or Power BI is essential, along with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Why Join?

This is your chance to secure a seat at the table, working closely with the executive team to shape the future of reporting for a company that’s investing heavily in data-driven decision-making. If you’re excited by the prospect of bringing clarity to complex data and influencing key business outcomes, this could be the role for you.
