The Opportunity 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support & Innovate: Administer and optimize the infrastructure behind their bespoke voice platform, working extensively with Linux (Ubuntu), FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, VoIP/SIP protocols.
  • Ensure Uptime & Security: Maintain multi-node redundancy, secure backups, and accurate documentation to ensure seamless operation and quick disaster recovery when needed.
  • Collaborate & Automate: Write and maintain Puppet manifests for orchestration, while managing databases and monitoring systems.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Partner with the team to innovate and refine their backend infrastructure, ensuring they stay ahead in terms of performance, reliability, and security.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of strong Linux administration skills (preferably Ubuntu or Debian) and a passion for open-source tools.
  • Experience with Git  and orchestration tools like Puppet.
  • Knowledge of VoIP technologies (SIP, SDP, RTP) 
  • A problem-solving mindset—you thrive in complex environments and are excited to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, ensuring high platform uptime and availability.
