Job Description

Acquisition Marketing Manager | 6-Week Contract | Circa $740 - $800 day rate

Melbourne | Hybrid | Financial Services | Immediate Start

  • 6-week contract wrapping up just before Christmas – perfect timing!

  • High-impact acquisition campaigns with a leading financial services business

  • Hit the ground running, make your mark and enjoy a well-earned festive break

Six weeks. Great experience. Christmas sorted.

Looking for a short-term contract that offers meaningful work, a strong brand on your CV and the chance to finish the year on a high?

This could be the perfect opportunity.

We're partnering with a well-established business in the financial services sector looking for an experienced Acquisition Marketing Manager to jump in for six weeks during a busy trading period.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your first month finding your feet. There's plenty happening, deadlines to meet and campaigns to deliver. We need someone who knows their stuff, can get across the detail quickly and enjoys making things happen.

The bonus? You'll wrap things up just before Christmas, leaving you free to enjoy the festive season and head into 2027 ready for your next opportunity.

What you'll be doing

You'll join an established acquisition marketing team working across a portfolio of credit card products, helping drive customer growth and campaign performance.

Your priorities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of acquisition campaigns across paid media and digital channels.

  • Developing creative briefs and coordinating campaign assets with internal teams and external agencies.

  • Supporting the launch of new customer acquisition offers, ensuring everything goes live smoothly and on time.

  • Project managing website refreshes and new landing page development to improve conversion.

  • Working closely with creative, media, digital, legal and compliance teams to keep multiple projects moving.

  • Identifying opportunities to optimise campaign performance and improve acquisition outcomes.

It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, stakeholder engagement and commercial impact.

What we're looking for

You're an experienced marketing professional who can comfortably balance strategic thinking with rolling up your sleeves and getting things done.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • 6+ years' experience across acquisition, digital or campaign marketing.

  • A strong track record delivering performance-focused marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Confidence managing creative development, agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • A commercially minded approach, with an understanding of campaign performance and conversion.

  • The ability to work autonomously, make decisions and deliver at pace.

  • Experience in financial services, credit cards or another regulated environment would be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you're someone who can come in, build relationships quickly, take ownership and deliver without needing a lengthy runway.

Why take this contract?

Because sometimes a short contract is exactly the right career move.

You'll get the chance to work with an established business, contribute to meaningful acquisition initiatives and add some valuable experience to your CV.

And rather than committing to a role that carries you through the holiday period, you can finish the year with six productive weeks under your belt and your Christmas break ahead of you.
