Product Manager - Marketplace

Permanent | Melbourne CBD | Hybrid | $160k + super  + Bonus 

We're partnering with one of Australia's largest digital commerce businesses that's investing heavily in the future of online marketplaces. Their product team is building the platform powering thousands of third-party sellers across multiple retail brands, combining enterprise scale with the pace and autonomy of a modern product organisation.

About the role

This is an opportunity to own high-impact marketplace features from discovery through to launch, improving the experience for customers, sellers and internal teams.

What you'll be doing

• Own the product roadmap and backlog for key marketplace platform capabilities.
• Lead product discovery, define user stories and translate complex business problems into simple product solutions.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Design and Operations to deliver high-quality product outcomes.
• Prioritise initiatives based on customer value, commercial impact and technical feasibility.
• Use customer research, experimentation and analytics to continuously improve product performance.
• Define success metrics, monitor KPIs and communicate product vision and roadmap across the business.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years' experience as a Product Manager delivering digital products, platforms or SaaS solutions.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments with ownership of backlogs, roadmaps and product delivery.
• Ability to turn complex stakeholder requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.
• A data-driven approach with experience using analytics, customer insights and experimentation to guide decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
