Onset Group is looking for a Principal Consultant to lead and grow a specialist practice across AI Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, SRE and Data/AI Platforms.

This role is suited to an experienced recruiter who understands highly technical environments and can operate credibly with senior Engineering and Infrastructure leaders. Someone who enjoys complex markets, emerging technology, and building strategic client relationships across Australia’s evolving AI ecosystem.

You will work with some of the country’s most exciting technology companies across AI, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, enterprise transformation and high-performance engineering environments.

 

The role:

  • Build a specialist market across AI Infrastructure and Platform Engineering
  • Partner with CTOs, Heads of Platform, Infrastructure and Engineering leaders
  • Drive contract and permanent recruitment growth
  • Develop strategic account mapping and client expansion plans
  • Build deep talent networks across Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure and AI Platforms
  • Position yourself as a trusted market specialist within one of the fastest-growing technology sectors

  • Have 4+ years of 360 recruitment experience (ideally in Australia)
  • Know your niche or are ready to define it - Recruitment experience within Engineering or Technology

  • Ambition to build a high-performing specialist practice
