Job Description

If your on-call is noisy, it's probably not you. It's the platform.

Here, it's not.

Five years of proper infrastructure investment, and the founder can't recall the last time infra caused a real business problem. The rotation is week-on / week-off, the alerting is engineered to be quiet, and the expectation is you keep reducing the noise, not absorb it indefinitely.

Joining as the Infrastructure Manager for a fully remote, team of two (growing to three).

You'd own the full stack. AWS, Kubernetes, production systems, reliability, cost, vendors, CI/CD. Hands-on, not managing from a distance.

And because it's a small team, you'd also be the senior technical voice, setting the standard, influencing architecture, mentoring without losing the craft that got you here.

This mission-critical platform runs about 2.5 million clinical consultations a year across Australia and the US. That context tends to change how the work feels. Including the 3am pages that, for the record, are rare.

Up to $195k base + super + ESOP. Fully remote. $1k WFH budget. Equipment provided.

If you're good at this and currently invisible, or are technically strong SRE/Infra person but stuck below a ceiling this is worth a proper look.

Tired of applying for roles and never hearing back? That won't be the case here, you'll get reply within 24 hours.
