Mid Level Product Manager
- Retail Technology | Customer Experience | Sydney | 3 days per week in office
- 6 months contract
- up to $900 per day Inc Super
A leading Australian consumer business is looking for an Mid Level PM to support the delivery of one of its most visible in-store technology products.
This role sits within a high performing product team and will work closely with a Lead Product Manager to drive the day-to-day delivery and optimisation of a smart retail experience used by thousands of customers each week. You will play a key role in translating product strategy into execution, working across engineering, store operations and technology partners to continuously improve the in-store experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys the delivery side of product management, working closely with engineers and operational teams to bring product improvements to life.
* This role would be great for someone who comes from a Product Owner background but has worked closely with highly visible customer-facing teams.*
What you will be doing
• Supporting the delivery of a customer facing retail technology product used across multiple stores
• Managing the day to day product backlog including feature enhancements, bugs and operational improvements
• Working closely with engineering teams to deliver product releases and improvements
• Coordinating new feature rollouts, pilots and store deployments
• Partnering with store operations teams to gather insights and feedback from real world usage
• Analysing product performance, customer behaviour and adoption metrics
• Supporting experimentation and testing of new product capabilities
• Helping ensure a seamless customer experience across the end to end shopping journey
What we are looking for
• 3 to 6 years experience in Product Management, Product Owner or Product Delivery roles
• Experience working with engineering teams in an agile product environment
• Strong delivery mindset with the ability to move initiatives from idea through to release
• Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders including technology, operations and commercial teams
• Experience working on digital or customer facing products
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have
• Experience in retail, ecommerce or consumer products
• Exposure to hardware enabled products, IoT or in store technology
• Experience analysing product usage and customer behaviour
