Lead Delivery Manager - Sydney | Hybrid

We’re partnering with a growing technology business to hire a Lead Delivery Manager to elevate delivery performance across the organisation.

This is not a standard Delivery Manager role.

You’ll operate at a senior level — leading complex programs while also setting direction across a group of experienced Delivery Managers, shaping how delivery is executed at scale.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee complex, multi-stream programs across enterprise clients
  • Lead, support, and hold Delivery Managers accountable for delivery outcomes
  • Set clear expectations and drive consistency, structure, and high standards across teams
  • Step in to stabilise delivery, reset direction, and manage risk when needed
  • Own delivery outcomes end-to-end, including commercial performance and forecasting
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align delivery with business priorities
  • Identify inefficiencies and lift delivery maturity across teams and programs

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience leading large, complex delivery environments
  • Background in a consulting, professional services, or vendor-led delivery environment
  • Experience managing or leading Delivery Managers or senior delivery professionals
  • Strong commercial acumen (budget ownership, forecasting, trade-offs)
  • Ability to lead at a peer level — balancing influence with clear direction and accountability
  • Confidence to make decisions under pressure and handle difficult conversations when needed
  • Strong stakeholder management across senior business and client groups
  • Track record of improving delivery standards and driving performance across teams
