Job Description

If you're the kind of engineer who wants more than ticket-chasing and minor bug fixes, this team will feel like home.

You’ll join a $100m+ product company used by millions of entrepreneurs and small businesses worldwide. What you build ships fast, scales globally, and shapes real user experiences.

This is a place where curiosity beats hierarchy. You won’t be boxed into “just frontend” or “just backend.” You’ll be trusted to explore, experiment and contribute across the stack - with strong support around you to accelerate your growth.

Why join?

  • AI-forward engineering culture: Engineers actively experiment with smarter tooling to move faster and build better - it’s part of how the team evolves.
  • Real growth runway: Join a senior-heavy team with the capacity to mentor and help you level up properly.
  • Product ownership without red tape: Startup-paced, collaborative and idea-driven. No silos!
  • Real flexibility: Hybrid model - most of the team works remotely and comes into the Surry Hills office when it makes sense.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building and evolving features within a global design platform
  • Working primarily in Node.js and TypeScript on the backend
  • Contributing across the frontend where needed
  • Building and maintaining scalable microservices
  • Improving performance, reliability and development workflows
  • Collaborating closely with product and design in an agile team

About you

  • Solid commercial experience as a fullstack or backend-leaning JS engineer
  • Strong Node.js and TypeScript fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of performance tuning server-side JS applications
  • Exposure to AWS or cloud environments
  • You actively use AI in your current workflow (Claude, Copilot, Cursor etc.)
  • Curious, proactive and eager to learn

Bonus if you’ve worked with canvas manipulation libraries (e.g. fabric.js) or contributed to AI-powered features.

If you’re an engineer who wants to be part of a team that’s truly leaning into AI - not resisting it - apply now!
