Job Description
They’re building out how leadership capability, talent, and learning operate at scale and need a GM of Organisational Development who can take ownership, deliver, and set the standard.
The leadership and capability space will define how they develop, align, and scale ~80 senior leaders across a global, matrixed business and you’ll turn complexity into structured, repeatable systems that directly impact how the business performs at scale.
This role is about building systems that don’t just develop people, but improve how the business performs.
You’ll work closely with executive leadership, facilitating and partnering with exeutive stakeholders to understand where the business is heading, then translating that into leadership capability, talent strategy, and development approaches that actually move the organisation forward. It’s not about running sessions or lifting frameworks from elsewhere, it’s about designing what fits this business, at this stage, and making it work globally.
This is hands-on, delivery-focused work, but it also demands strategic thinking, influence, and strong facilitation. You’ll take what exists, challenge it, reshape it, and turn it into something that scales, then embed it across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning talent and succession strategy at senior levels, including executive capability and leadership development
- Facilitating and partnering with ~80 senior leaders, driving alignment and landing clear outcomes
- Designing and delivering executive-level experiences such as offsites, leadership programs, and forums
- Building integrated capability systems across talent, leadership, and learning that drive measurable business performance
- Leading global initiatives that need to work across regions, not just locally
- Embedding modern approaches to learning, including AI, blended models, and personalised development
- Leading a small team (2 - 4), while staying hands-on in key programs and workstreams
This isn’t a rinse-and-repeat role.
They’re not looking for someone to bring a playbook and apply it.
They want someone who can design approaches specific to the organisation, understand complexity and build for it, bring new thinking into learning and leadership, and drive large-scale, global transformation.
If you enjoy environments where influence, execution, and design all sit together, and you like taking something ambiguous and turning it into something structured, scalable, and impactful, you’ll fit right in.
