Their products sit across highly regulated, always-on environments where performance, reliability and visibility really matter. With a long-standing reputation in the market and a strong global client base, the business is now entering a new growth phase, with Product playing a central role in how they scale.

The Role 

This is a delivery-focused, execution-heavy Technical Product Owner role working on a complex payments product used by tier-one financial institutions.

The product does not process payments. Instead, it provides real-time visibility into how payment systems perform end to end, helping banks detect issues, failures or degradation before customers are impacted.

You’ll work closely with Product leadership and Engineering to translate product strategy and roadmap intent into clear, build-ready delivery, ensuring engineering teams have the clarity and detail needed to move fast and deliver high-quality outcomes.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, working deeply with engineers, and owning the execution layer of product delivery in a technically rich environment.

About You

You’ll likely bring:

• Strong Experience as a Technical Product Owner, Senior Product Owner or similar
• Experience working in complex, technical or enterprise SaaS environments
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous ideas into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Comfort working sprint-to-sprint with engineering to clarify scope, manage dependencies and unblock delivery
• A pragmatic, detail-oriented and outcome-driven mindset
• Confidence operating in ambiguity and creating structure where it does not yet exist
• Strong communication skills and experience working with globally distributed teams
• Experience in payments, financial services or regulated environments is helpful but not essential.
• Experience working on payments-related products or platforms, such as card payments, real-time payments, transaction monitoring or payment operations, is highly regarded
• What matters most is your ability to work at the intersection of product intent and technical delivery.

• Hybrid role, based in Sydney (3 days per week in office)
