Job Description

We’re working with a fast-growing, advanced technology business entering a critical scale phase across the US and Europe. They’re looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to partner closely with the Head of Operations and build a scalable, in-house finance function.

What you’ll be doing

• Bringing key finance processes in-house, including R&D tax, month-end close, AP/AR and payroll
• Managing multi-currency and multi-entity accounting, optimising systems (Xero) and improving finance workflows
• Supporting growth initiatives including grants, funding readiness and international expansion as the team scales from ~35 to 60+

About you

• Experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within a scaling tech or R&D-led business
• Strong hands-on capability across month-end, tax and statutory reporting
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments and building finance processes from the ground up
