Job Description

They’re building something new — and need a senior engineer who can take the lead, deliver at scale, and set the standards for Azure delivery. The Cloud Engineering pod will define how infrastructure, automation, and operations are managed for a growing customer base, and you’ll turn complex cloud environments into streamlined, secure, and supportable platforms.

You’ll work closely with the Cloud Engineering Manager and customers to understand their business and technical goals, then design modern, scalable Azure solutions that actually deliver outcomes. This is hands-on work, architecting, automating, optimising, but it also calls for strategic thinking, mentoring, and building something repeatable that scales across 50+ customers. You’ll take what’s already there, improve it, and help shape what comes next.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, implementing, and optimising cloud architectures across Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, and security.

• Building automation frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Python) to standardise delivery.

• Leading cloud migrations, modernisation initiatives, and platform builds aligned to client outcomes.

• Driving operational excellence through observability, monitoring, and SRE practices.

• Mentoring engineers, documenting frameworks, and lifting capability across the pod.

• Partnering with customers to deliver technical leadership, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement.
