Senior Business Analyst opportunity at a global FMCG brand working on system upgrade and integration program. 

This program is modernising core platforms that drive menu authoring, pricing, product data, supply chain, and integration across digital channels and stores. 

This is a business-facing role focused on gathering requirements, mapping processes and data flows, and helping shape future-state solutions. 

You'll be working in a collaborative, friendly, and outcome-driven environment where your input will directly influence business performance and technology alignment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Requirements Gathering

  • Connecting with stakeholders from finance, supply chain, HR, and operations to collect detailed integration requirements.

• Process Mapping (AS‑IS / TO‑BE)

  • Document current workflows across inventory, scheduling, forecasting, and financial reconciliation.

• Data Mapping

  • Define mappings between ERP and external systems (e.g. suppliers, EDI partners, POS systems).

• Integration Architecture

  • Specify whether integration points will use APIs (for real-time) or flat‑file/EDI transfers (for batch-processing).

  • Define data formats, frequency, error-handling, and monitoring mechanisms.

  • Partner with technical integration specialists or middleware providers (e.g., Crossfire, MuleSoft).

• Testing & UAT

  • Validate end-to-end flow across processes— finance to forecast, etc.

• Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Train business users, monitor data reconciliation, troubleshoot frequent integration issues, and iteratively refine mappings or processes post go-live

• Hybrid working 1 to 2 days in the office

• 6 month contract with view to extend or become permanent

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst with strong expertise in requirements gathering, data mapping, and business process analysis AS IS and TO BE
  
  
• MUST HAVE 3+ years working on system upgrade and integration projects in FMCG or Retail companies
  
  
• Ideally, ERP (eg JDE) – product and financial data, POS/Menu Management (e.g., NCR) – pricing and store interfaces, Hamilton Grant – recipe and nutrition information
  
  
• Solid understanding of API-based integrations ideally flat file / EDI mechanisms
  
  
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
  
  
• Proficient in tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, JIRA, or similar
