Job Description

FP&A / Finance Business Partner
Remote / Work From Home – PH-based | AU Hours (9:00 AM–6:00 PM AEST)

Turn numbers into decisions. Shape financial clarity. Power bold business moves.

Join a high-growth Australian tech-services group backed by private equity and built for scale. With multiple brands under one collective, we’re driving transformation across digital, people, and technology solutions—and financial insight is the fuel behind every smart move we make.

As our FP&A / Finance Business Partner, you’ll build the forecasting engine that informs our biggest decisions. You won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll translate them into action. This is your chance to drive commercial performance across a portfolio of ambitious businesses.

If you love working directly with leaders, thrive in spreadsheets, and can turn variance into a narrative—this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the integrated financial model—Group P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow

  • Lead budget cycles and rolling reforecasts with cost-centre owners

  • Prepare board-ready reports with driver-level insight and plain-English commentary

  • Run scenario modelling for pricing, M&A, and capacity planning decisions

  • Spot risks and opportunities early, and quantify EBITDA impacts

  • Align workforce forecasting with project delivery capacity

  • Collaborate with Growth & Sales on revenue pipeline integrity

  • Automate reporting workflows using no-code tools (Zapier/Make, ChatGPT)

  • Partner with Finance & Payroll on month-end close and data hygiene

  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes—less time gathering data, more time delivering insight

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years in FP&A, commercial finance, or management accounting

  • Proven experience in financial modelling and forecasting in the AU market

  • Familiarity with payroll tax, super, GST, and PE-style reporting

  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets (PowerQuery, nested models)

  • Strong dashboard/reporting skills (Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar)

  • Experience with Xero or MYOB reporting

  • Comfort using ChatGPT for narrative drafts, and low-code tools for automation

  • Bonus: SQL basics, Apps Script, or Python for data pulls

  • Bonus: CA, CPA, or CFA certification

Why join us?

  • Own a high-impact FP&A function at a group level

  • Partner directly with the COO, CFOs, and founders

  • Fully remote role with a performance-driven, flexible culture

  • Healthcare coverage extended to your family

  • Work equipment provided to set you up for success

Be the partner leaders rely on when decisions count. Help us grow smarter, faster, and stronger.
