Senior Frontend Engineer
Healthtech Company

“I want to work for a company that is doing good for the world. Nothing crypto or gambling.” - 99% of people looking for a new role
Well, if you’re one of the 99% who feels like they want to be working on great tech, with an awesome team but are also providing services which genuinely save lives then you might want to keep reading…
You could be joining a healthtech company which helps patients to get the life saving treatment that they might need but just don’t know where to turn. They also help to speed up clinical trials and drive better outcomes for patients.
Over the past 3 years they’ve been through some change and have now hit a huge revenue milestone meaning that they are growing the team.
The role
You’d be joining as a Senior Frontend Engineer but this role is more than that. Everyone within the team drives change and makes things happen so whilst it’s a fairly flat structure, you’ll be having a huge impact on the direction of the product and how things are done. And whilst it is frontend, you’ll understand the full-stack landscape and how each component affects the overall product.
Tech-stack is React, TypeScript and GraphQL so expertise in this is a given, however, you’d be expected to be able to get involved in Product Design and have conversations with the backend team who will be working in Java / Kotlin, Postgres, DBT, Docker, AWS, DevOps etc. You won’t need to be an expert in this tech but you’ll want to get stuck in where you can.
If you’re looking for a scaling start-up, where you will have a huge impact on the direction of the business then this ticks a lot of boxes.
It will be scrappy, it will be fun, you’ll work with a great team and you’ll be doing good for the world.
This role is 3 days a week in the office in Sydney CBD and as a start-up, they value in person collaboration. However, they are flexible too. If you aren’t looking to work in Sydney hybrid for the majority of the time, this role isn’t going to be for you.
If it does sound like the sort of thing that would be good for you, apply here or connect with me, Jon Holland on LinkedIn
