Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Resilience Consultant to join a large and complex environment, helping strengthen resilience across critical systems and services.

The role sits across technology resilience, business continuity and IT disaster recovery. You’ll work closely with infrastructure, platform, application and security teams to understand critical services, identify dependencies and make sure appropriate recovery plans are in place.

You’ll lead Business Impact Assessments, develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, and coordinate resilience and recovery testing. You’ll also work with technology teams around RTO/RPO, backup, recovery and failover.

This isn’t a purely governance-focused Business Continuity role. You don’t need to be a hands on engineer, but you will need a strong understanding of modern technology environments and be comfortable working with technical teams around infrastructure, applications and cloud services.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in Business Continuity, IT Disaster Recovery, Technology Resilience or IT Service Continuity, ideally gained within a large or complex organisation. Experience with resilience testing and recognised standards such as ISO 22301 would be beneficial.
