Job Description
This is one of those architecture roles where you'll actually influence how engineering teams build, not just review what they've already delivered.
You'll join a large enterprise investing heavily in cloud platforms, automation and AI, working alongside cloud and platform engineers to build security into the foundations rather than slowing projects down at the end. Think secure-by-design, threat modelling, reusable guardrails and developer enablement instead of endless governance meetings.
You'll spend most of your time partnering with engineering teams, shaping cloud platforms from day one, helping them solve security problems, designing secure patterns and making it easier for developers to move quickly without compromising security.
It's a highly technical environment where architecture is hands on. You'll be talking about cloud services, CI/CD, IAM, infrastructure, automation and technical risk every day, while also influencing senior engineers and technology leaders.
You'll have a background in Security Architecture, and be comfortable designing secure cloud platforms in AWS. You'll understand cloud security, IAM, DevSecOps and threat modelling, but just as importantly, you'll be someone who can influence technical stakeholders, challenge engineering teams when needed and take a pragmatic approach to balancing security with delivery.
In return, you'll join an organisation tackling genuinely complex cloud engineering challenges at scale. You'll have the opportunity to influence technology direction, work on modern cloud and AI initiatives, and be part of an architecture team that's embedded with engineering rather than sitting on the sidelines. It's the kind of role where you'll leave a visible mark on how security is delivered across the business.
