This global SaaS business has spent the last several years building products that support B2B Saas firms firms around the world.
More recently, they've brought multiple products, tools, and workflows together into a single platform experience designed to help practices manage their clients, teams, subscriptions, workflows, insights, compliance activities, and day-to-day operations from one place.
The foundations have been built…The platform has launched…Now comes the harder question….What does this product become next?
About the Role
This newly created Principal Product Manager role has been established to help answer exactly that question.
Reporting into the VP of Product you'll take ownership of defining the future strategy, vision, and commercial direction of a newly launched platform.
The product already exists. The challenge now is determining how it evolves.
You'll be responsible for helping define:
- What capabilities belong within the platform.
- How deeply the business invests across different customer problems.
- What should be built internally versus solved through partnerships.
- How the product is positioned, packaged, and monetised.
- How the platform supports growth across ANZ, the UK, and North America.
- How multiple products and teams come together to create a cohesive customer experience.
This is not a traditional squad-based product management role.
You won't be spending your time writing user stories or managing sprint ceremonies.
Instead, you'll operate at a portfolio level, bringing together customer insight, commercial thinking, market understanding, and product strategy to help shape one of the company's most important product ecosystems.
About the Candidate
We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving large, complex product challenges.
You'll likely bring:
- Experience defining product strategy for platform, ecosystem, marketplace, or SaaS products.
- Strong commercial acumen with exposure to pricing, packaging, monetisation, or growth strategy.
- The ability to connect customer problems, business objectives, and product investment decisions.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and aligning multiple teams around a common vision.
- A track record of taking complex, ambiguous opportunities and turning them into executable product strategies.
- Strong product discovery, customer research, and market validation capabilities.
- Experience within accounting, fintech, workflow software, professional services technology, or B2B SaaS environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
