Senior Software Engineer - Consulting - Permanent Opportunity 

My client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to work with cutting-edge Microservices, APIs, and cloud technologies alongside a high performing team. 

This role is with a a very well regarded consultancy who have a best in class reputation for the delivery of software and integration services. 

First 6 months in the role

  • Design, build, and support APIs and integrations across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure production services run smoothly – action alerts, fix defects, and implement enhancements.
  • Collaborate with clients and your high-performing team to deliver solutions.
  • Work for a consulting client to deliver first class engineering experiences

Ideal skills:

  • 3+ years in Java/Spring Boot or integration platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of API design, security, and SDLC.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proactive, quality-focused, and able to see projects through to completion.
  • Bonus: Experience with Kafka, DevOps tools, or containerized solutions (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, OpenShift).
