Senior Finance Data Analyst

Partner with Advanced Analytics | Deploy AI-driven finance solutions

📍 Inner eastern suburbs, Sydney | Hybrid (3 days in office)

This is a finance partnering role at the intersection of finance, data and AI. You’ll work closely with advanced analytics teams to shape investment decisions, build financial models for AI initiatives, and provide leadership with clear insight into how analytics programs are driving business performance.

Rather than purely reporting numbers, this role is about using financial insight to guide decisions on complex analytics and AI initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with advanced analytics teams to evaluate and fund AI and data initiatives
• Build financial models and business cases for complex analytics programs
• Provide insight into revenue, margin, cost drivers, and performance metrics
• Deliver decision-focused reporting for senior leadership
• Own P&L forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning cycles
• Ensure transparency across cost allocation and financial performance
• Drive automation and simplification of finance processes

What We’re Looking For

You’re a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning complex data into clear insights and influencing decisions.

Strong candidates will typically bring:

• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering
• Strong financial modelling and business case development skills
• Ability to communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders
• Highly analytical with attention to detail
• Comfortable in complex, cross-functional environments
• Experience with BI tools and querying complex data sets - SQL, BigQuery, Databricks, Power BI, Looker, Tableau
