Lead Product Analyst – Transport Management Systems
Sydney, hybrid – 3 days in office | $140k–$150k + 16% bonus
We're looking for a hands-on, technically capable Lead Product Analyst to take ownership of a critical transport management application within a large supply chain and logistics network. You'll be the go-to person for both business and tech teams, leading a dedicated squad focused on BAU enhancements and continuous improvement of the inbound freight system.
What you’ll be doing:

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for a key transport management system used across inbound and outbound freight operations

Partner with developers, BAs, and systems analysts to assess technical solutions and ensure smooth delivery

Translate business needs into product enhancements and communicate impact and feasibility back to stakeholders

Lead an agile squad (with occasional waterfall work) focused on enhancements, bugs, and backlog grooming

Act as the interface between the business and a third-party vendor, coordinating integration and product changes

Engage with transport planners, distribution centres, and other business units to understand and improve day-to-day workflows

Handle financial elements like carrier payments and vendor reconciliation

Support hand-over from the current contractor in the role
What we’re looking for:

Strong experience in product ownership or systems analysis within transport, logistics, or supply chain tech

Technical understanding of system architecture – enough to assess dev solutions, understand SQL, and spot security vulnerabilities

Confident working across agile squads and interacting with external vendors

Clear, confident communicator – able to push back or influence stakeholders when needed

Someone who’s happy getting into the detail and solving real-world transport challenges
