Are you a creative leader with a passion for customer-first design? Do you have experience leading design across email and catalogue channels—both print and digital? We’re partnering with a high-profile Australian retailer to find a Senior Designer/Studio Lead to take ownership of two of their most critical promotional touchpoints.

About the Opportunity:

This is a high-impact, strategic design role that goes beyond just execution. You'll be responsible for setting the creative direction across email campaigns and catalogues, ensuring all output is visually compelling, brand-aligned, and driving engagement.

You’ll also manage a dedicated offshore design team, so some leadership experience is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive design best practices and innovation across email and catalogue content

• Create compelling, customer-centric promotional campaigns across digital and print

• Manage and mentor an offshore team (Manila-based), ensuring high-quality output and collaboration

• Collaborate closely with marketing, digital, and commercial teams

• Maintain design consistency across all touchpoints while pushing creative boundaries

• Balance creative strategy with efficient project traffic and time management

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in a design role, with significant time spent in retail, eCommerce, or promotional design

• A strong portfolio showcasing email, print, and catalogue campaigns

• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams (offshore experience highly regarded)

• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Deep understanding of layout, typography, and visual storytelling

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Figma)

• A proactive, detail-focused mindset and a passion for elevating the customer experience
