Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences by building best-in-class practices and processes? We’re looking for a Head of Delivery who will lead and shape our delivery function, ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless, value-driven implementation. You’ll play a key role in designing scalable delivery methodologies, working closely with product engineering to translate customer needs into successful outcomes, and fostering long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead seamless platform delivery: Oversee all customer platform implementations, ensuring they are executed flawlessly through both hands-on management and delegation.
  • Build best-in-class delivery processes: Define, implement, and continuously refine methodologies, tools, and techniques to ensure smooth and efficient customer delivery for insurance.
  • Collaborate with product engineering: Work closely with product engineering teams to ensure alignment between product development and customer delivery, translating technical capabilities into customer-centric solutions.
  • Tailored project management: Customize delivery approaches to meet the unique needs of each customer, ensuring projects are executed with precision and aligned with their goals.
  • Proactive risk management: Anticipate and address risks, issues, and change management to prevent disruption and maintain seamless delivery for customers.
  • Stakeholder relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with key customer stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and trust throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Best practices for excellence: Drive continual improvement of delivery practices, ensuring processes evolve and stay ahead of industry standards to deliver the best possible customer outcomes.
  • Commercial success and customer alignment: Balance commercial considerations with a focus on delivering optimal customer solutions, ensuring mutual success for both the company and its clients.
  • Team empowerment: Develop and maintain a highly skilled, customer-focused delivery team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, ensuring customers receive the best support.
  • Scalable processes: Establish delivery processes that not only meet current needs but also scale with business growth, ensuring long-term consistency and quality for customers.

Requirements:

  • Visionary leadership: A track record of building high-performing delivery teams and implementing efficient processes 
  • Change management leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and clients through transformation while prioritizing seamless experiences.
  • Customer-first mindset: Proven success in translating product vision into customer success stories, with delivery processes tailored to the unique needs of clients within consulting / professional services organisations. 
  • Technical foundation: Experience in scaling and maturing a SaaS platform, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and customer needs.
  • Best practice expertise: Previous experience in creating and refining scalable, customer-focused project delivery methodologies.
  • Project management mastery: Expertise in both waterfall and agile methodologies, with a focus on delivering complex technology projects on time, within budget, and to the highest customer satisfaction standards.
