Job Description

Product Manager - Saas Platform

Melbourne | $150,000 - $170,000 + Super + ESP

Own complex B2B SaaS workflows, solve challenging prioritisation problems, and help shape the future of a platform used by thousands of professional services businesses.

  • Own a broad and highly visible product portfolio spanning workflow, onboarding, operational tooling, and platform capabilities.

  • Work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Customer Operations, Compliance, and Commercial teams to solve complex business problems.

  • Join a growing B2B SaaS organisation where Product Managers are empowered to drive decisions, challenge assumptions, and create meaningful customer outcomes.

About the Business

Our client is a leading B2B SaaS platform trusted by thousands of businesses globally. Their products sit at the heart of how customers manage critical operational workflows, making them deeply embedded within day-to-day business operations.

With continued investment across Product and Technology, the business is focused on simplifying complex processes, improving customer experiences, and creating scalable platforms that support long-term growth.

About the Role

This is a Product Manager role sitting within a complex platform environment supporting professional services customers.

You'll be responsible for a portfolio that spans customer onboarding, workflow management, operational tooling, automation opportunities, and platform enhancements. The product area serves multiple customer groups, operates across different regional requirements, and involves balancing customer value, technical constraints, compliance considerations, and commercial priorities.

Success in this role will come from your ability to bring structure to ambiguity, make thoughtful prioritisation decisions, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.

This is not a role for someone managing a single feature or isolated roadmap. You'll be working across multiple product areas simultaneously, navigating competing priorities and helping shape the future direction of an evolving product portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and evolve product strategy and roadmap initiatives across a complex B2B SaaS platform.

  • Drive product discovery, prioritisation, delivery, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, Commercial, and Customer-facing teams.

  • Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and regulatory considerations when making product decisions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, simplify operational processes, and increase customer value.

  • Leverage automation and emerging technologies to streamline experiences and improve efficiency.

  • Analyse customer feedback, usage data, and business insights to guide investment decisions.

  • Manage multiple workstreams, products, and priorities simultaneously.

What We're Looking For

We're far more interested in how you think and operate than the specific industry you've worked in.

You'll likely bring:

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience within a B2B SaaS, enterprise software, platform, workflow, or operational technology environment.

  • Experience managing complex products with multiple stakeholders, customer groups, and competing priorities.

  • Strong product execution capability with a track record of delivering customer and business outcomes.

  • Excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to make sound trade-off decisions.

  • Confidence working closely with engineering teams and navigating technical discussions.

  • Experience operating in environments involving compliance, governance, operational complexity, or regulated workflows.

  • Exposure to APIs, integrations, platform capabilities, or connected product ecosystems.

  • A proactive, high-ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in evolving and fast-moving environments.

  • Practical experience using AI, automation, or workflow optimisation tools to improve team or customer outcomes.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a product-led organisation where Product Managers are trusted to solve meaningful customer problems, influence roadmap decisions, and work on products that are deeply embedded within how businesses operate every day.

If you're a Product Manager who enjoys complexity, loves untangling operational challenges, and thrives when balancing customer value with commercial outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
