Delivery Manager

We’re partnering with a scaling B2B SaaS business in the insurance technology space that is looking for a commercially minded Delivery Manager to lead complex customer implementations and delivery programs across enterprise clients.

This role suits someone who performs best in evolving environments where priorities shift, expectations are high, and strong judgement matters.

Someone who can navigate ambiguity, proactively surface risks, balance competing demands, and build trust with customers through clear communication and follow-through — particularly when challenges arise.

What you’ll own

You’ll lead the delivery of complex technology programs and customer implementations across multiple workstreams — balancing customer expectations, commercial realities, delivery risk, and internal priorities.

This includes:

• Owning customer delivery conversations from initiation through to execution
• Translating commercial commitments into realistic delivery outcomes
• Managing project financials, forecasts, budgets, invoicing, and delivery performance
• Leading project teams across delivery milestones, risks, dependencies, and escalation pathways
• Driving clear trade-off decisions across scope, timelines, and capacity
• Building trusted customer relationships at both operational and executive levels
• Supporting pre-sales activities including scoping, estimation, workshops, and proposals
• Helping evolve delivery capability, governance, and scalable delivery practices

You’ll work closely across Delivery, Product, Sales, Engineering, and Leadership — often operating at the intersection of competing priorities and making the calls needed to keep delivery moving.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for Delivery Managers who have built their careers in consulting, technology services, or software vendor environments — where customer ownership, commercial accountability, and delivery complexity are part of the role.

You’ll likely bring:

• A strong track record delivering large-scale, complex technology programs over multiple years
• Experience managing both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
• Customer-facing delivery leadership experience within a software vendor, SaaS, or consulting environment
• Strong commercial acumen with accountability for budgets, forecasts, margins, and delivery outcomes
• Experience navigating delivery under resource constraints and shifting priorities
• Confidence managing difficult conversations, escalations, and expectation resets with senior stakeholders
• The ability to think beyond individual projects and improve delivery systems, cadence, and scalability
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring delivery professionals
• PMP certification or formal project management accreditation (highly regarded)
• Insurance industry exposure is beneficial but not essential
