Job Description

There are very few opportunities in the Australian recruitment market where an experienced Technology recruiter can genuinely build a multi-million-dollar business within an established brand.

This is one of them.

Onset Group is looking for a commercially driven Director to lead and grow a Technology practice across Engineering, Data, Cloud, Project Services and Enterprise Applications.

This role is designed for someone with ambition, market credibility, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships at a senior level. Someone who understands that modern recruitment leadership is about forging great relationships, building capability, driving market presence, developing people, and creating sustainable revenue growth.

You will have the autonomy to build your market your way, backed by one of Australia’s most recognised Technology recruitment brands and a leadership team deeply connected across the startup, scale-up, enterprise and investor ecosystem.

 

What we’d love you to do:

  • Build and lead a high-performing Technology recruitment practice
  • Develop strategic relationships with Founders, CTOs, CPOs and Executive leadership teams
  • Drive permanent and contract revenue growth across your market
  • Partner with our professional services business units (theoc.ai)
  • Lead account mapping and expansion strategies across existing and new clients
  • Mentor and develop consultants within your practice
  • Partner with Directors across our GTM, Deep Tech, Life Sciences and Executive practices.
  • Operate as a senior commercial leader within the business
