Step into Product Leadership role, where you’ll partner directly with the founder to shape the product strategy of a scaling SaaS business.

About the Client

We’re partnering with a high-growth Australian SaaS business in the fintech space, providing a mission-critical platform used by clients to manage complex commercial products and services.

With over 15 years in market, the business is entering its next phase of product growth, focused on product innovation and international expansion.

This is a founder-led business with strong market traction, a loyal customer base, and clear market positioning, now looking to mature its product function.

About the Role

This is the first Head of Product hire, reporting directly to the CEO.

You’ll take ownership of product strategy and work closely with the founder to:

• Translate vision into a clear multi-year product roadmap
• Strengthen product differentiation in a competitive market
• Engage directly with enterprise customers and partners
• Drive commercial outcomes through pricing, packaging, and new product opportunities
• Uplift product capability from reactive delivery to strategic product leadership

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape both the product and the function.

About the Candidate

This would suit someone stepping up into their first product leadership role or for someone who has already had exposure to an initial product leadership role. 

You’ll bring:

• Experience in SaaS, fintech, insurtech, or complex platform businesses
• Strong commercial thinking, with exposure to pricing, revenue, or growth initiatives
• Ability to operate across strategy and execution in a lean team
• Confidence working closely with a founder or senior leadership team
• A customer-first mindset, comfortable engaging with enterprise clients

Insurance experience is beneficial but not essential.
