Job Description
Join a fast-growing, mission-driven health and wellness company that’s scaling rapidly across Australia and beyond. They’re building out a dedicated growth squad - and this role will be their first embedded engineer in the team.
This is not a typical frontend dev role. You’ll work inside a tight-knit, product-led growth squad where engineering, design, product and marketing collaborate daily to build, test and optimise the customer journey.
You’ll own frontend delivery across high-impact growth experiments. From landing pages to onboarding flows, you’ll work on the key experiences that drive customer conversion and help shape how they scale.
Why join?
-
High ownership in a scaling, product-first company
-
Join a squad focused on solving real UI/UX and conversion challenges
-
Be involved in customer discovery, user research and experimentation
-
Build product that directly impacts growth and revenue
-
Collaborate daily with designers, product managers, data and marketing teams
-
Contribute to a culture that’s collaborative, mission-led and truly product-focused
What you’ll be doing
-
Develop and iterate on top-of-funnel experiences: landing pages, onboarding flows, builder funnel
-
Build frontend experiments focused on usability, performance and conversion
-
Participate in customer discovery and bring insights back into design and development
-
Own the technical delivery of growth experiments, with support from the broader engineering team
-
Collaborate across design, data, marketing and product to drive real business impact
-
Occasionally contribute to the PHP backend when needed (not essential)
About you
-
Commercial product engineering experience
-
Experience in growth, A/B testing or experimentation-driven work
-
Proficiency in Vue.js (or React) and solid fundamentals in frontend architecture
-
Comfortable working across the stack, or keen to grow backend skills (Node.js, PHP)
-
Product thinking: you care about customer outcomes, not just shipping code
-
A bias for shipping, learning and iterating quickly
-
Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to work cross-functionally
Perks and benefits
-
$1500 annual learning and development budget
-
Up to 18 weeks paid parental leave top-up
-
Hybrid-friendly and pet-friendly offices
-
Wellbeing and fitness tools included
-
8 weeks a year to work remotely from anywhere
-
Work with people who genuinely care about product, customers, and each other
You’ll be joining a team that’s proactive, self-sufficient, and thrives on fast feedback and measurable impact. It’s a low-ego environment where engineers have a seat at the table, and everyone shares a bias toward action, improvement and care for the customer.
If you’re excited by the idea of being the engine behind growth at one of Australia’s fastest-growing consumer brands, we’d love to hear from you.
