Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Security Architect to take the lead on shaping and owning the security architecture across a new Cyber Program, supporting the delivery of the Cyber Roadmap for 2025 and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on expertise, and who’s passionate about building secure, scalable solutions that align with business goals and risk appetite.

You’ll work closely with business and technology leads, architects, and project teams to design and guide current and future state architectures. From cloud and SaaS to IAM (including PAM), data, applications, and network security—you’ll help ensure everything is built with secure-by-design principles front and centre. You’ll also play a key role in architecture forums and governance, ensuring designs align with standards while driving continuous improvement.

We’re after someone with strong knowledge across hybrid and cloud security, identity and access management, DevSecOps, secure app development, and data protection. You’ll be confident in threat modelling, designing mitigation controls, and applying frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or SABSA to build resilient, compliant architectures. Just as important, you’ll be comfortable leading workshops, engaging stakeholders, and influencing decisions at all levels.
