Job Description

Help us shape the future of integration at one of Australia's leading global success stories.

As we begin a major digital transformation — replacing our existing MuleSoft integrations with Salesforce-native solutions — we’re looking for a highly experienced MuleSoft Integration Engineer to lead the way.

This is a unique opportunity to own the current-state integrations, support business-critical functions across SAP, Salesforce, Retail, and Finance systems, and help lay the foundation for a post-MuleSoft future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and reusable MuleSoft APIs and integrations using Anypoint Platform and CloudHub.

  • Owning the transition from MuleSoft to Salesforce-native integrations: supporting the migration, managing risk, and guiding handover.

  • Leading end-to-end integration projects — from design through deployment and post-go-live support.

  • Ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce and SAP, as well as internal systems across sales, customer service, retail, and finance.

  • Coaching developers on MuleSoft and Salesforce integration best practices, and helping upskill the internal team.

  • Implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and secure API design patterns (OAuth2, JWT, governance policies).

  • Collaborating closely with architects, stakeholders, and delivery teams to deliver reliable, high-performing integration services.

What we're hoping you'll bring to the role:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and building enterprise-grade integrations with MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, Runtime Fabric).

  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce via REST/SOAP, Bulk API, and event-driven patterns.

  • Deep knowledge of API-led architecture, DataWeave, RAML, JSON, XML, and web service protocols.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Anypoint CLI) and enterprise DevOps workflows.

  • Familiarity with SAP integration or working with large ERP systems.

  • Strong grasp of integration security, rate limiting, throttling, and governance.

  • Confident communicator with a passion for mentoring others and driving integration excellence.

  • Bonus: MuleSoft Certified Developer or Integration Architect credentials.

What's in it for you:

  • Join a high-impact digital transformation program in a complex enterprise environment.

  • Work alongside a Salesforce-certified architecture team to design the future of integration.

  • Influence the next-generation architecture as we move away from MuleSoft and toward modern, native platforms.

  • Be part of a customer-obsessed, design-led company known for innovation in the luxury retail space.

  • Flexible work: Hybrid model with global reach (this role supports teams both in and outside of Australia).

If you're passionate about integration engineering and ready to take on an exciting technical leadership challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
