What you’ll be doing:

• Architecting secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments across multiple accounts
• Designing and automating infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Evaluate and enhance cloud infrastructure to efficiently support 1,000-1,500 users while maintaining optimal performance.
• Leading infrastructure uplift projects focused on AWS networking, IAM, storage, and compute
• Implementing strong cloud governance, tagging frameworks, and FinOps best practices
• Using tools like CloudWatch and Datadog to monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and utilisation
• Supporting disaster recovery, multi-region design, and high availability strategies
• Working closely with security, compliance, and architecture teams on platform-wide initiatives
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring others in AWS infrastructure design and cost optimisation

Tech Stack & Tools

• Core AWS Services: EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, IAM
• IaC: Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitoring & Governance: Datadog, CloudWatch, AWS Config, Budgets, Cost Explorer
• Security & DR: IAM, SCPs, KMS, backup strategies, multi-account security frameworks

Who 
you are:

• A specialist in AWS infrastructure with 5+ years of cloud engineering experience
• Able to design and implement complex, enterprise-grade AWS solutions
• Experienced in optimising infrastructure for cost, scale, and performance — and can prove it
• Strong on automation, but only where it drives efficiency, governance, or resilience
