Azure Cloud Engineer | Own, Build & Secure a Scalable Cloud Environment

They’re looking for a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer who can take ownership of their Microsoft cloud environment and help shape best practices as the company scales. About the Role:

In this role, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to design, optimise, and secure their Azure environment.
You'll have autonomy to make smart infrastructure decisions, mentor internal teams, and drive improvements across networking, identity, and hybrid workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimise Azure infrastructure (resource groups, VMs, NSGs, VNets, firewalls)
• Implement secure configurations and follow cloud best practices
• Support and improve Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments
• Provide Level 3 support and mentor L2 engineers
• Support hybrid cloud workloads using VMware or Hyper-V

What They're Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS & PaaS services
• Ability to make infrastructure decisions (you’re not just following a runbook)
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, security, and resource structuring
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and identity/access management
• Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V for hybrid workloads
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the confidence to take ownership
