Leveraging Microsoft Azure and advanced security solutions, they are deeply invested in AI and automation, continuously exploring innovative ways to enhance operations and customer experiences.

About the Role

As a Cloud Engineer with a passion for security, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding their cloud infrastructure while ensuring efficiency and scalability. You’ll collaborate with a team of experts to drive innovation, implement security strategies, and maintain seamless cloud operations in a macOS and Windows environment.

Your expertise in Azure, cybersecurity, and endpoint management will help secure and scale their infrastructure to meet the needs of a dynamic retail business. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure for a cloud-first transformation
• Lead the migration from a hybrid environment to a cloud-first infrastructure, optimising performance and ensuring security best practices
• Implement best practices in cybersecurity, ensuring compliance and protection against emerging threats.
• Manage and optimise Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to strengthen security posture.
• Oversee Intune and Addigy for effective device management across Windows and macOS.
• Configure and manage SIEM solutions (Sentinel) for security monitoring and threat response.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, proactively monitoring for security incidents.
• Explore AI applications in computer vision and people counting models, driving innovation in retail analytics.
• Support Telephony initiatives by moving to a single base layer of Twilio and integrating with Microsoft Teams and desk phones.

About You

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and cloud migrations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Intune/Addigy.
• Familiarity with SIEM configuration (Sentinel) and cybersecurity best practices.
• A security-first mindset with a proactive approach to threat management.
• Enthusiasm for AI-driven solutions and an interest in retail technology innovations.
• Experience working in both macOS and Windows environments.
• Understanding of Telephony systems and integrations, particularly with Twilio and Microsoft Teams.
