Job Description
The Role
As our IT Solutions Manager, you’ll lead the design, integration, and deployment of critical systems, with a particular focus on Salesforce CRM, payment systems, and API integrations. You’ll ensure seamless connectivity across multiple platforms, provide hands-on leadership for end-to-end system testing, and deliver solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining solution architecture, technical project management, and operational support. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that Able Foods achieves its vision of creating a digitally connected and customer-centric platform.
Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture:
- Lead the technical architecture for the eCommerce platform, Salesforce integration, and payment system integration.
- Ensure the design is robust, scalable, and aligns with the company’s long-term technical strategy.
- Address gaps in existing designs, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability.

API and System Integrations:
- Oversee the seamless integration of Salesforce with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, StoreConnect) and payment systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- Manage approximately 15 product interfaces across multiple systems, ensuring consistent and reliable data flow without relying on middleware.
- Implement strategies for API integrations, data mapping, and front-to-back-end synchronization.

End-to-End Testing:
- Define and execute a comprehensive strategy for end-to-end testing, ensuring seamless functionality across all integration points.
- Oversee integration testing, load testing, and system-wide validation to deliver a platform that performs under peak conditions.
- Resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure error-free deployments.

Vendor Management:
- Act as the primary technical liaison for vendors, ensuring deliverables align with overall project objectives.
- Coordinate across multiple vendor teams with varying levels of engagement to meet quality and timeline requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to vendors and resolve integration challenges as they arise.

Operational Support & Deployment:
- Lead the transition from development to production, ensuring a seamless deployment process for all integrated systems.
- Provide post-launch support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance.
- Establish strategies for long-term system scalability, maintainability, and flexibility to support evolving business needs.
About You
We’re looking for a passionate IT professional with a strong background in Salesforce CRM, payment systems, and API-based integrations. You excel at managing complex projects, coordinating with multiple vendors, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Your Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years’ experience as an IT Solutions Manager, Solution Architect, or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce integrations with eCommerce platforms and payment systems.
- Experience managing complex, multi-vendor integration projects.
- Strong background in API-based integration (REST, SOAP), data mapping, and eCommerce ecosystems.
Your Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development and integration (Apex, Lightning, Salesforce APIs).
- Expertise in integrating payment systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) into CRM and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of API integration standards, data synchronization, and security best practices (e.g., OAuth, SSL/TLS, PCI-DSS).
- Proficiency in system testing methodologies, including end-to-end testing and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
