When Finance meets Analytics and Strategy

What would it look like to use your financial analytical skills to support a scaling technology business in telling their story through data?

You will be working hand-in-hand with the CFO, marketing and product teams to help evolve this business.

About the Company

This significantly backed Australian-based global design company empowers small businesses to build their brand instantly. With a loyal customer base in Australia and the US, they are now focused on making their platform the best in the world.

The company has just re-branded their small-business branding application, anticipating more traffic and engagement.

Their office is in Surry Hills, but they value flexibility. Most of the team comes in one day a week, and they have monthly team events. If you prefer the office, there's a core group that goes in regularly, and they even have a coffee tab next door!

What does the journey look like?

• Working and partnering with other parts of the business to optimise, grow margins and build strategy
• Manage key data sources to optimise analytical capabilities
• Supporting the FP&A function through forecasting, modelling and analysis
• This individual will play a role in telling their story through their financial data
• Creating and updating reports to communicate key insights to management
• The opportunity to work closely with their executive team that is invested in the business and building our a dashboard for data insights

What experience do you have?

• You have over 4 years of experience as a financial analyst working with large data sets
• You know how to generating insights that will benefit other team members
• You are an expert in building financial models who enjoys generating business value
• You know your way around excel and other modelling tools
• Preferably, you have experience working in a SaaS business and understand the key metrics
