With the tech in place to launch early next year,  this exciting, contemporary, first to market startup is ready to make their most important hire - a senior, digital savvy, commercial marketing and growth expert that knows what it takes for a brand to make waves in a market and drive customer acquisition, rapidly.   
 
The Crux of The Role (you'll get to put your own stamp on it too)
Working hand in hand with a dynamic founder who has carved out an impressive reputation and public following off the back of previous successful business ventures, the buck stops with you.  As the most significant hire at this critical phase, you'll be focussing on:
  • Scaling the customer base through innovative, data driven, proven marketing strategies (you'll know what works as you will have done this in previous roles)
  • Ensuring the marketing strategy you create identifies customer segments, hones in on market trends and the competitor landscape and cements this brand in the market for the long term
  • Putting your expert knowledge of digital marketing (email, SEO, social media, digital advertising etc) into action
  • Developing and launching the brand to market while staying true to its contemporary, refreshing, down to earth DNA
  • Leveraging PR (and ATL) opportunities by developing narratives that connect with media, influencers and target audiences
  • Ensuring you are across all the insights, analytics and data points to maximise conversion and ensuring the customer journey is optimized from consideration through to purchase
  • Driving short and long term results for the business so you can scale a team down the track and put your leadership skills into action
 
What You'll Need To Demonstrate To Secure This Role

  • Your proven experience in growth, digital or performance marketing - how you have done this and what results you have achieved
  • Your comfort and familiarity with digital performance tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush etc)
  • Your curiosity for data and ability to interpret and translate this into effective, creative initiatives that drive results
  • Your comfort in working and managing external agencies (and equally your comfort in not relying on outsourcing everything to get things done)
  • Your passion for amplifying brands and driving cut through
  • Your comfort in working in a scale up - you're THE growth marketing and digital resource for the time being - once you prove you can achieve the results, you'll get to build a team
  • Your prior leadership and mentoring skills
It goes without saying if you've launched new mobile apps to market and scaled rapidly this will hugely beneficial!
