What it looks like for you?

As the Finance Manager, you'll partner their CFO and a globally distributed finance team as well as the local operations teams to drive strategy, optimise margins, and support regional growth. You'll play a key role in integrating current and future acquisitions in the ANZ region and spearheading their new accounting software system. 

Key Roles + Responsibilities:

  • Be proactive and autonomous in managing financial operations and driving strategic initiatives to support their goal of doubling revenue in the next 24 months.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that would be presented back to the senior leadership and investment teams.
  • Oversee and enhance the daily financial operations and further establish the Australian and New Zealand finance function. 
  • Provide senior leadership in APAC with accurate, timely financial data for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Led the planning of budgets and forecasts for the region. 
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls.
  • Establish financial policies aligned with the group.
  • Lead the implementation of a new finance system (NetSuite) for the region.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years as a CA/CPA qualified accountant/finance professional.
  • Experience in a SaaS technology business.
  • Deep understanding of Australian accounting and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance system implementations.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience in private equity or venture capital companies.
  • Preferred experience in a SaaS business with a ~$50M turnover.
