Join the team in Melbourne as a Finance Manager to be part of a mission that matters! The team is seeking an individual who is technically astute to spearhead their implementation of a new account system and work closely with their global CFO.

You will be working closely with a CFO and collaboratively with their Managing Director ANZ. This is an opportunity for someone to be apart of bringing advanced AI technology to the healthcare sector across ANZ. 

Roles + Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and information to tight month end timelines
• Monitor, and process the day-to-day financial operations within the jurisdiction, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Leading the relationship between our business and external agents/ auditors
• Business partnering with the SLT in APAC to ensure they get accurate and timely information to aid with decision making
• Managing all local taxation matters
• Adhering to financial regulations and legislation
• Preparing budgets and regular forecasts for the region
• Maintaining a control environment (monthly balance sheet reconciliations, reviews)
• Monitoring internal financial control
• Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures aligned to group
• Aid in streamlining financial processes for the region
• Project managing a new finance system implementation for the region led by team at HQ

What you’ll bring to the team

• The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and be a CA/CPA qualified accountant/finance professional with experience operating in a SaaS technology business.
• They will need to demonstrate knowledge and practical experience of Australian accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.
• They must have advanced excel skills with experience in implementation of new finance systems. (NetSuite)
• It is preferable is this candidate had experience in a SaaS software business turning over approximately $50M.
• It is desirable if the candidate has experience with salary, superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation.
