Domain Principal Architect

• Sydney Based (1/2 days in Office, 3/4 days WFH)
• $300K package

Your role is pivotal, driving innovation and strategy alignment across a diverse portfolio, impacting over 400 technologists and millions of consumers. Leading architectural decisions, mentoring teams, and mapping out the next 3-5 years are all part of your daily adventure. With a focus on collaboration and leadership development, your expertise is celebrated.

Working closely with the GM of Technology and key stakeholders, you'll elevate the business to new heights. Your responsibilities include everything from guiding architectural decisions to evaluating emerging tech and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You are a conceptual thinker who has extensive expertise in the realm of ecom, spanning personalisation strategy, customer journeys and loyalty programs. 

With over 10 years of experience in designing digital solutions and a strong background in leading IT teams, you're well-equipped for success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading architectural decisions and best practices within your domain 
• Collaborating with senior leadership to align architecture with business goals 
• Mentoring and guiding architects and engineers to enhance their skills 
• Evaluating emerging technologies to improve efficiency 
• Developing governance frameworks and reference architectures 
• Mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

• 10+ years designing large-scale digital solutions (E2E)
• Experience leading IT teams and working in consumer-facing environments
• Proficiency in Agile delivery and application lifecycle management
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles
• Expertise in Microsoft tech stack and integration solutions 
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• A background across retail, logistics/ and or manufacturing will highly compliment this role
