Help build the future of Australian market operations!

I'm partnering with a fast-growing fintech that's entering a significant phase of growth in Australia.

As part of their next chapter, they're transitioning key operational capabilities from a third-party provider and building the foundations required to operate as a direct ASX participant.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced operations professional to join at a pivotal moment. You'll help shape operational capability from the ground up, influence how the business scales, and become a key voice in building the future Australian operating model.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the transition of key operational functions from a third-party provider.
• Acting as a subject matter expert across settlements, reconciliations and market operations.
• Helping build scalable processes, controls and operational frameworks.
• Partnering closely with product, technology, compliance and risk teams.
• Contributing to the future structure and capability of the Australian operations function.
• Driving operational excellence as the business prepares for its next stage of growth.

What We're Looking For

• A strong operational background within financial services, ideally across settlements, reconciliations, clearing, custody or investment operations.
• Someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges and can confidently navigate ambiguity while helping shape new processes and ways of working.
• Experience with CHESS, ASX participant environments or Australian market operations would be highly regarded, but we're open to candidates with adjacent experience who can bring deep operational expertise.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys building, solving problems and operating in an environment where not everything has been defined yet.
