Job Description

You’ll be the hybrid-cloud SME — designing, building, and optimising environments that span on-prem (Hyper-V/VMware) and Azure. You’ll lead big pieces of work: datacentre and hybrid-to-cloud migrations, modernisation projects, hybrid networking, and identity integration.

You’ll keep platforms running smoothly across multiple customers, making sure they’re secure, resilient, and supportable — and you’ll be the escalation point for the tough stuff.

Automation will be a big part of your world: creating repeatable deployment and migration frameworks using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Azure Migrate and similar tools to drive efficiency and consistency.

You’ll lead a small hybrid pod, mentor engineers, and lift capability — while also shaping the direction of Orro’s hybrid-cloud services.

And you’ll work directly with customers: advising on strategy, planning and delivering migrations, optimising hybrid environments, and supporting them through complex operational challenges (including on-call when needed).

You know hybrid inside out with strong experience with on-prem virtualisation and Azure services, and deep knowledge of hybrid networking, identity, migrations, and modernisation.

You script, automate, and build frameworks that scale. You communicate clearly, work well with stakeholders, and can translate challenges into practical, modern hybrid-cloud solutions.

You’ve led or mentored engineers before, ideally in an MSP or consulting environment, and you bring a strategic mindset — someone who can help shape how hybrid cloud is delivered across a large customer base.
