Job Description

Exciting opportunity at an Australian technology company who specialise in advanced aerospace, cutting-edge drones, smart manufacturing tools, and mission-critical software. 

They are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with 1–3 years of experience implementing, integrating, and scaling SaaS solutions such as ERP (NetSuite), Digital Operations Platform (Tulip) and Product Lifecycle Management (Siemens Teamcenter) and CRM (Salesforce).

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Liaise with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, operations, finance, and commercial teams to capture detailed business and technical requirements.

• Translate these into functional specifications, user stories, and technical documentation.

• Map end-to-end business processes and define system workflows across ERP (e.g., NetSuite), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and PLM (e.g., Teamcenter).

Solution Design & Systems Integration

• Partner with solution architects and integration leads to design scalable and secure interfaces between systems.

• Support data model alignment across product lifecycle, customer management, and enterprise resource planning domains.

• Validate system interoperability, including BOM flows, product configuration, and change management integration.

Project Execution in Hybrid Methodology

• In Waterfall-driven components (e.g., core ERP/PLM deployments), manage documentation, sign-offs, and configuration traceability.

• In Agile-driven streams (e.g., CRM workflows, UI enhancements), drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Maintain alignment with project governance, risk logs, and delivery timelines.

Testing, Deployment & Quality Assurance

• Define and execute test strategies, including unit, integration, system, and UAT.

• Support data migration, cleansing, and cutover activities from legacy systems.

• Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects and validate integrated functionality.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor between business users, IT, and third-party vendors.

• Assist in training delivery, system documentation, and user adoption planning.

• Facilitate change impact assessments and promote continuous improvement post-go-live.

Compliance, Security & Traceability

• Ensure that systems and integrations comply with aerospace/defense standards, data governance frameworks, and internal policies.

• Maintain traceability matrices and documentation for audits, program reviews, and regulatory reporting.

Essential experience

• 1–3 years in a Technical Business Analyst

• Programming background (ideally in Python, JavaScript and SQL)

• MUST HAVE experience implementing and integrating SaaS solutions such as ERP, PLM or CRM 

• API-based integrations

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar

• Energised by working in a fast growing mid-tier environment

Desirable experience:

• ERP (NetSuite), Digital Operations Platform (Tulip) and Product Lifecycle Management (Siemens Teamcenter) and CRM (Salesforce)
