Digital Merchandising Assistant

As part of our Commercial Practice team, this 5 month contract role will work closely with the Digital Merchandising Managers & specialists to support queries, day to day admin & digital campaign coordination and execution.
- Support the team with general administration and queries
- Ad hoc data analysis to support insights & actions
- Assist and support wider team to deliver and execute digital campaigns including the creation of product groups, Merch cards and homepage support
- Support team in the management of range on the website through manipulation of website rules and reviewing out of stock data
We are looking for an inquisitive, detail-oriented team player with 1-3 years of experience in assistant category development, merchandising / category assistant, sourcing assistant or similar field. Previous FMCG and eCommerce experience will be highly regarded.
An understanding or interest in cross-category management; including product performance, market share, competitors, price and promotion, suppliers, category trends and customer insight
Able to use advanced Excel functions e.g. pivot tables, formulas and conditional formatting
Clear analytical thinking, capable of breaking information into component parts, patterns and relationships
eCom or previous FMCG experience is beneficial
Analytical & problem-solving skills
