The Company 

An Australian start up with strong venture capital funding, currently in the high growth stage and expanding internationally. Fast paced environment, working with brand new innovative technology.

What you’ll be doing 

An exciting time to come on board as a Full stack Tech Lead. You will take ownership of a team and look after a brand new product being launched next year.  The split is 70% hands on and 30% people mananagement/mentoring. In this role you will make architectural decisions, be close to the code as well as be an inspiring leader to your team. Currently working on PHP (Laravel) but you will have ownership on technology being used on new products. You’ll join the dynamic and collaborative team working through complex and interesting technical problems that’ll hugely impact the products success. 

What you need to be successful 

• Has experience in a Leading/mentoring role 
• Passionate and inspiring 
• Expert PHP skills with strong proficiency on PHP framework Laravel
• Strong experience with Javascript frameworks - Vue.js is a preference 
• Significant AWS experience
• Communication skills both verbally and written 
• Experience building microservices and understand microservice architecture
• Exceptional problem solving skills
• Experience with API Gateway or OAuth2
