What will you do?

  • Technical Escalation Expertise: Serve as the go-to technical escalation point for the Service Desk and Network Operations Centre, adept at troubleshooting complex network issues with precision and efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, clients, and third-party support partners to facilitate the smooth integration of client network systems, ensuring interoperability and optimal performance.
  • Incident Support Leadership: Take on a pivotal role in incident support and troubleshooting, swiftly responding to outages and network incidents with a combination of technical expertise and strategic problem-solving.
  • Configuration Management and Security: Proactively maintain and upgrade network configurations, implementing changes to enhance reliability and security of network devices, safeguarding critical assets against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Continuous Service Improvement: Drive continuous service improvement initiatives by providing insightful operational reports, analyzing trends, and offering strategic insights to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of network operations.

Who You Are

  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate impeccable communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information and ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Certification: Hold a minimum active CCNA certification, supported by deep knowledge and practical experience in network engineering, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in the field.
  • Ticketing Systems Proficiency: Bring experience in working with ticketing systems, adept at managing tickets within specified SLAs, ensuring timely resolution and efficient incident management.
  • Escalation Bridge Participation: Demonstrate a track record of joining and contributing effectively to escalation bridges, leveraging expertise to address critical issues with urgency and precision, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on operations.
  • Network Expertise: Exhibit proficiency in SD WAN and Firewalls of any brand, with hands-on experience across various vendors, showcasing deep technical knowledge and practical skills in network design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Attitude/Personality: Possess a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, thriving within team dynamics while maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
